  • Complete an application describing their motivations for wanting to become a PSDT,
  • Attend 7 days of Scrum and technical training,
  • Receive approval from the instructors of each of these courses,
  • Pass an online assessment of their Scrum expertise,
  • Pass an online assessment of their technical expertise, and
  • Agree to all the terms of being a Scrum.org trainer, including attending 2 virtual refresher trainings and 1 in-person refresher training each year, thorough review of student feedback, thorough review of student assessment scores, on-site reviews of training, and agreement to only teach from the standard courseware.

Professional Scrum Developer Trainer Java List
PSMT Professional Scrum Master Trainer
  • Have been a Scrum Master for at least one (1) year.
  • Have provided training and coaching to people using Scrum.
  • Achieve at least a 95% score on the PSM I and PSM II assessments,
  • Submit a PSMT application that details their Scrum experience, explains their motivations for becoming a PSMT, and provides a reference who can speak to their experience on a Scrum team with the candidate,
  • Attend an approved two-day Professional Scrum Master course.
  • Receive approval from the instructors of each of these courses, and
